VBSV Hosting Second Annual
Independence Day Baseball Tournament
  
VERO BEACH, Fla.—Vero Beach Sports Village (VBSV) will be hosting its second annual Independence Day Classic youth baseball tournament next week, July 4-8. The tournament will include teams from Florida, Michigan and New York. Games will begin Wednesday, July 4th, at 9 a.m.
 
Some of the teams attending include Brevard Plasma (Melbourne, Fla.), Cape Coast Canes (Merritt Island, Fla.), Hitter’s Edge Swingmen (MI), Indian River Rivals (Vero Beach, Fla.), Long Island Royals (NY), PSL Phantoms (Port St. Lucie, Fla.), Quinco Baseball (Orlando, Fla.), SWFL Baseball (Ft. Meyers, Fla.), and Vero Beach Baseball Academy Scorpions (Vero Beach, Fla.).
 
All games will be played at the 79-acre Vero Beach Sports Village. Games are open to the public and admission is $20 for an all-tournament pass, or $5 per day.
 
VBSV is also scheduled to host the VBSV Beach Blast (July 20-22), the Labor Day Beach Bash (September 1-3), and the VBSV Fall Classic (September 28-30) youth baseball tournaments this year.
